十月十五日這天早上，有一群人在宜蘭的羅東車站集合，而這群人都有共同的身分──RTM的熱血新生！我們來到宜蘭接受為期兩天的訓練營隊。第一天，以宜蘭鐵路串起四大景點，我們開始宜蘭探索之旅。
第一站我們抵達冬山站，出火車站後步行沒多久就會抵達冬山河生態綠舟，沿著步道漫行，我們盡情徜徉在大自然的懷抱中，最棒的是，還可以登上希望之丘，眺望冬山河及享受火車從腳下疾駛而過的快感。
乘著火車，第二站我們去參觀羅東林業園區，這裡記錄了昔日台灣輝煌的林業史，一踏入園區，淡淡的檜木香撲鼻而來，園區內除了保存日式木造房，也展示了鐵軌和蒸汽火車，我們一邊了解歷史，一邊享受著森林的靜謐，遠離塵囂……
- 昔日為貯放高級木材的水池，現已轉變為結合環境教育及自然生態的池子。
接著是讓人驚豔不已的宜蘭火車站，與插畫家幾米合作，以「走向春天的下午」為題，打造了數一數二的特色火車站！前方的丟丟噹森林公園和幾米廣場，重現了繪本中許多經典場景，彷彿令人置身書中，絕對是拍照的好去處！

最後一站我們來到了礁溪，這裡最著名的特色就是溫泉公園，公園裡還有不同溫度的池水任君挑選，盡情享受泡腳樂趣，重點是全部免費！我們就在溫暖的池水中卸下了一天的疲憊。

In the morning of Oct. 15th, a group of people gathered at Luodong station. These people had the same identity──the new blood of RTM. We came to Yilan and had a 2-day new employee orientation. On the first day, we explored four amazing attractions in Yilan along the railway.
At the beginning, we arrived to Dongshan Station, after walking for several minutes, we reached to Dongshan River Ecoark. Everyone enjoyed being embraced by nature while taking a stroll along the trail. What’s even better was that climbing up to the Hope Hill, overlooking the whole scene of Dongshan River, and feeling the thrill of watching the train passing fast below you.
- Cruising along the Dongshan River seemed to be fantastic.
Next stop, we got off at Luodong Station and visited Luodong Forestry Culture Gargen. It recorded the history of forest industry in Taiwan. Upon entering here, you would smell the fresh scent of Taiwan Cypress. Here are also some Japanese-style wooden houses and displays of old railway lines and steam trains. We were learning the history while sinking in the silence of forest, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
And then was the astonishing Yilan Station. The government cooperated with the famous illustrator Jimmy Liao and created a particular train station which was with the topic of “Walking Towards the Spring Afternoon”. In front of the station, there are also Jimmy’s park and square where reproduced the classic scenes of his picture books. They were definitely great places to photograph.
At the final stop we came to Jiaoxi where features the hot spring parks. We let our hair down through soaking feet in warm water, and easily get rid of fatigue. The most important thing was that it was totally free!
- Look at their smile! Our members of RTM absolutely had wonderful memories.
